How the Repair Process Works

Our seat repair service restores seats with deployed side airbags without requiring you to ship the entire seat.

Place your order, then remove and ship only the damaged seat cover / seat skin to us using the prepaid shipping label we provide. Once received, we’ll professionally repair or replace the affected section and return it ready for reinstallation.

What we do:

Repair or replace seat covers damaged by side airbag deployment
Restore proper tear seams and fitment for airbag-equipped seats
Maintain factory-style appearance and functionality

What you send:

✔️ Seat cover / seat skin only
❌ Do NOT send the full seat frame or seat assembly

Turnaround Time:

Most seat cover repairs are completed and shipped back within 24–48 business hours after arrival.

Important Notes:

This service is for seat covers only, not seat frames or internal seat mechanisms.
The seat airbag must be replaced separately before reinstalling the repaired seat cover.
Additional damage outside the seat cover area may require further service.

The Process

How It Works

We've made it as easy as 1-2-3.

Remove Your Seat Cover

Unzip and unclip the seat cover (seat skin). You don’t need to send the entire seat, only the outer seat cover.

Ship Your Seat Cover to Us

Carefully package the seat cover and ship it to our repair shop in North Highlands, California. A shipping label will be provided at checkout.

We Repair & Ship Back

Once received, we inspect the damage, perform a professional stitching repair matching the original seam, then ship the repaired seat cover back to you within 24–48 hours. Ready for reinstallation

Need Seat Belt Repair or Replacement?

A locked or deployed seat belt does not always require full replacement. Many post-accident seat belts can be repaired by rebuilding the internal components and restoring the retractor or pretensioner function.

Seat belt repair is often a better option when the belt is locked, stuck, blown, or no longer retracting after a crash. If the seat belt webbing is cut, burned, frayed, or heavily damaged, you may also need seat belt webbing replacement.

FAQ

Have questions? We’re here to help! Check out our most common questions below. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact our support team anytime.

Do I need to send the entire seat?

No, we only need the seat skin or cover. Please do not send the entire seat or cushion. Removing just the cover helps reduce shipping costs and speeds up the repair process.

Do you work on leather seat covers?

Yes, we repair seat covers made of cloth, vinyl, and leather. Leather repairs may cost more if the tear goes beyond the seam and into the leather surface.

How much does seat stitching repair cost?

Pricing starts at $150 per seat cover. If the damage is more severe or goes beyond the seam, we’ll contact you with a quote before starting any extra work.

Do you offer nationwide service?

Yes, we ship nationwide from our location in North Highlands, California. You can send your seat cover from anywhere in the U.S.

How long does the repair take?

Turnaround time is usually 24–48 hours once we receive your seat cover. We’ll ship it back promptly after the repair is complete.

Is there a warranty on the repair?

We provide a lifetime warranty on all stitching repairs. If the seam we repaired ever fails due to craftsmanship, we’ll fix it at no cost.

What if the tear goes beyond the seam?

If the tear is just at the seam, it’s usually a quick and affordable fix. If the tear extends beyond the seam into the fabric or leather, additional work may be required and pricing may increase.

How do I remove the seat cover?

We recommend removing the seat cover carefully using the seat’s built-in zippers, clips, or fasteners. If you're unsure how to do it, reach out to us — we’re happy to help guide you.

The first time I ordered this the package was lost in the mail. I called and spoke with an awesome support engineer. You guys replaced this at no cost and it arrived very quickly. It was easy to install and woks great!

The service was excellent and convenient. The only reason i didn't give stars, was it took a little longer than i expected to get my sealtbely returned to me.

As described

Communication via email was great.
Turn around was just about what they say. I shipped on Friday afternoon, they had possession of package by next Tuesday morning and they completed and shipped out that following Thursday and was back home and installed Monday.
11 days total including transit from WA to CA and back.

I had sent in the drivers belt for both a 1993 F150 (granite gray(dark)) and a 1995 Bronco (opal gray(light)).
Considering that the passenger sides was still a 30 year old piece they match decently - but are not a 100% perfect match.

I think it would be virtually impossible to 100% match 30 year old faded colors.

The dark gray belt has a slightly more blueish look than original and it is the same 5 panel construction of the OEM belts.

The light gray belt is slightly more silver than OEM belt and is a solid 1 panel construction vs the 5 panel design of OEM.

I am sure the sun will fade them some so probably will blend them better over time, but they are close enough for vehicles that get driven regularly.
If your vehicle is a show vehicle I would recommend getting all of your belts done for best results over all.

Over all, I am completely happy with how these re webbed belts present and will most definitely use L & D Solutions for any other seat belt re-webbing projects I may have in the future.

Thanks for the great service guys.

The webbing repair was prefect. Turn around time couldhave been better!
