If you selected a dual-stage service but send a single-stage retractor attached to a pre-tensioner, you may be subject to an additional charge.
A dual-stage retractor has two plugs on the retractor itself.
If your seatbelt has one plug on the retractor and one plug on the pre-tensioner, this counts as two separate services:
one single-stage retractor, and
one pre-tensioner.

Fantastic service. This was for a 2001 Mitsubishi Minicab, where 25 years of time and Montreal potholes took their toll. With a few days and a very reasonable cost, I shipped my seatbelt from Montreal to California, got it rebuilt and returned. Would have been hundreds of dollars more to get a USED one from Japan, and this one is now better than new. Highly recommended and you can quote me on that any time. Russ was super helpful on the phone matching the situation to the service too.

I'm fairly close to your South Carolina location (Georgia) so it seemed like I got my buckle pretensioner back in 3 days...which was amazing to me! And it cleared the 2292 fault I was getting which was not from a post collision event. Should I need another repair in the future I'll definately use L & D solutions again.

Seat belts won't fully retract. WHY I sent them in. They almost retract, then give out. Springs are weak, apparently weren't replaced. Not recommended. Now they want a video. Again, not recommended

My seatbelt charge/squib was fixed and my SRS light went off. The seat belt tensioner appears to work the same which I thought it would work better.

Great experience, smooth process & repair time !

A box flew across my truck cab and hit the B pillar causing the seatbelt pretensioner to fire along with the airbag light. I confirmed that the module was bad seeing an open across the pins and looked for a solution. $250 for a new module from the stealer or send it in for repair at a much lower cost. L&D took care of the repair and sent the module back to me in perfect order. I installed it, truck was happy and cleared the codes. I hope to never have to use this service again but if I do L&D will be it.

While I understand shipping takes time and Memorial Day fell during this period, a 15-day total wait is excessive for a website advertising a 24–48 buisness hour turnaround. Tracking showed my package was received in just 2 days after I shipped it (sent 5/20, received 5/22). Factoring in the holiday and weekend, it still should have been completed and returned within about a week. Getting it back on 6/3 was disappointing. Also advertised " ship free with our prepaid label"
Shipping both ways was added to my bill. I paid $23 for shipping it wasn't free.
